Windsurfing Log

Place: Fukae Beach (Fukuoka, Japan) Time: 11:30 to 13:30 Sail size: 5.8 m2 Board volume: 105 L Wind: Northwest, Onshore Sea conditions: Waist-high waves The wind was stronger than expected. I should have brought the 94-liter board.   

Place: Saisekijou (East end of the Ohbaru Beach in Fukuoka, Japan) Time: 15:00 to 16:00 Sail size: 5.8 m2 Board volume: 105 L Wind: Southwest, left cross-offshore Sea conditions: Waist-high waves

Place: Fukae Beach (Fukuoka, Japan) Time: 13:00 to 15:30 Sail size: 5.3 m2 Board volume: 94 L Wind: West, Left cross-onshore Sea conditions: Medium-sized waves The wind was very unstable, but many windsurfers and kitesurfers enjoyed planing.

Place: Karatsu (Saga, Japan) Time: 14:00 to 15:00 Sail size: 4.2 m2 Board volume: 94 L Wind: North, Right Cross-onshore Sea conditions: Very challenging  Head-high swells were scary and made my performance clumsy.  In 30 minutes, my arms became stiff, but I was able to garner some experience in Karatsu.
